Imran Ali
CEO, Editor-in-ChiefImran Ali is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Gilgit-Baltistan Times. He is also a co-founder of The Karakoram Magazine, where he currently serves as the Managing Editor and Chief Marketing Officer. Kashif Hussain
Managing EditorKashif Hussain is the managing editor of Gilgit-Baltistan Times; he is also Deputy editor of The Karakoram Magazine, a former South Asia fellow at the Stimson Centre, and a Research Associate at the Strategic Studies Institute, Islamabad (SSII), in Pakistan. He previously worked as an intern at the Center for International Strategic Studies, Islamabad (CISS). He was one of Pakistan’s youth ambassadors to Turkey under the Turkey-Pakistan Youth Bridge Program in March 2015. He received a B.A. from Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, followed by M.Sc. and M.Phil degrees in International Relations from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. His research focus is the geopolitics of South Asia.
Lala Rukh Ramal
Associate EditorLala Rukh Ramal is an Associate Editor at Gilgit-Baltistan Times; she is also an associate editor at The Karakoram Magazine; and she is also pursuing a master's degree in Chinese politics from the Silk Road School, Renmin University of China.
Deedar Karim is an associate editor at the Gilgit-Baltistan Times; he is an International Relations graduate from National Defense University, Islamabad. He also worked as a research associate at South Asian Times (SAT). His area of interest revolves around the South Asian geo-political and geo-strategic realm in general and terrorism in particular. He also writes opinion pieces for SAT and other media outlets such as The Nation, Militant Wire, The Eurasian Review, and the Daily Times.
Zeeshan Alam
Web Developer & Graphic DesignerZeeshan Alam is an MBA graduate with six years of professional experience in the finance department. Additionally, he has five years of freelance experience in graphic design and WordPress development. Irfan Khan
Production & Communication LeadIrfan Khan is the production and communication lead at Gilgit-Baltistan Times. He is a graduate of the Media and Communications Department at Karakoram International University.
Naveed Wali Khan
Social Media ManagerCurrently he is working as social media manager with Gilgit-Baltistan Times. His areas of expertise are developing & implementing social media strategies, social media content management, managing advertisement campaigns, monitoring and analyzing social media matrices to measure the activity and implementing improvements.
