In a landmark stride towards bolstering the Information Technology sector, the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the IT Department of Gilgit-Baltistan have joined hands for the operationalisation of the Gahkuch Software Technology Park (STP). This strategic collaboration seeks to establish an environment conducive to the growth of IT companies and enterprises, contributing significantly to regional development and economic growth.
To commemorate this significant milestone, an engaging Open Day event was hosted at the Gahkuch STP, wherein officials from the IT Department and PSEB interacted with companies are keen to establish their offices within the park’s dynamic ecosystem. The event also served as a platform for key stakeholders to engage, exchange insights, and deliberate on the potential advantages of being part of this IT hub.
During the event, a momentous occasion unfolded as nine (09) companies formally became part of the Gahkuch STP, solidifying their commitment by signing consent agreements with the IT Department.
